Watching her pretend to be clueless, Aiden Shaw didn't get angry. Instead, he just smiled and affectionately nuzzled her hair. "Alright, I'll go make you some food. No more snacks."
"Got it."
Laura Lowell climbed off Aiden Shaw. Then, as if she'd suddenly remembered something, her eyes widened. "Aiden, I don't think I've gotten my period this month."
"Could I be pregnant? Honey, can you hurry to the pharmacy and buy me some pregnancy tests?"
Laura Lowell was so excited she was practically bouncing. The thought that there might be a little life inside her stomach made her so happy.
Aiden Shaw placed his warm palm on Laura Lowell's stomach, a smile spreading from his lips to the corners of his eyes. "Okay, I'll go buy them for you right now. You be good and wait for me to come back."
