After washing up, Laura Lowell sat at her vanity, put on some light makeup, and changed her clothes before heading out.
In the kitchen, Aiden Shaw came out carrying breakfast. "You're awake. Hurry and come eat."
Laura Lowell walked over with a gentle smile. She stood on her tiptoes and gave Aiden Shaw a kiss on the corner of his mouth. "Morning."
Aiden Shaw set down the plates, placed his hands on the edge of the dining table, and trapped her in his embrace. "One's not enough."
"For a morning kiss, one should... be enough, right?"
Laura Lowell met Aiden Shaw's tender, affectionate dark eyes, her cheeks flushing involuntarily.
The next second, his soft lips descended upon hers, moving languidly.
The scent of him, mingled with a faint hint of mint, flooded Laura Lowell's senses...
Laura Lowell lightly wrapped her arms around Aiden Shaw's neck, her breathing growing ragged. This subtle movement, however, made Aiden Shaw deepen the lingering kiss irresistibly.
