"Rose, call the police."
"Aurora, what are you talking about?" Rose White was stunned. She clearly didn't understand what Aurora Sterling meant. Why would they call the police out of the blue?
Sylvia Vaughn also stared at Aurora in a daze, but she didn't ask anything. She had a faint feeling that Aurora was saying this because of her. But as for why Aurora was doing this, or what her goal was, Sylvia had no idea.
For a moment, Sylvia's emotions became a tangled mess. Part of her hoped Aurora was really doing something for her, but another part of her hoped Aurora would do nothing at all. Aurora didn't know the whole story, and Sylvia was terrified that if Aurora kept making a scene, the dirty secret she was hiding would be exposed. These conflicting emotions churned inside Sylvia, making her fidget with anxiety.
The guys in the private room were also taken aback, looking at Aurora in confusion.
"Hey, freshie, why call the police for no reason?" one of the guys asked.
