Hector Vaughn was annoyed that the glass had been snatched from his hand. He was about to snap at the person, but then he realized the one who'd rushed in and grabbed his drink was just a young girl.
The guys in the private room fell silent. The only sound was Sylvia Vaughn, slumped over the table, coughing and dry heaving.
'Who is this girl?'
'What's she doing barging in here?'
The guy sitting next to Hector Vaughn nudged him. "Hey, you don't think this girl has a secret crush on you and followed you here, do you?"
Hector Vaughn raised an eyebrow and properly sized up the petite girl before him. She wasn't very tall, with a small face, big eyes, and full, dewy lips. Her long hair was slightly wavy. Aside from her simple clothes, she looked exactly like a doll.
Compared to a dopey girl like Sylvia Vaughn, this one was far more vivacious.
