"Were you just forcing this girl to drink, senior?"
Hector Vaughn's face stiffened at Aurora Sterling's words, but he quickly smiled. "It was just a joke. She wanted to drink it herself." He then subconsciously nudged Sylvia Vaughn, who had been slumped over the table, unable to get up. "Sylvia, you wanted to drink it yourself, right?"
The alcohol was getting to Sylvia Vaughn's head, making her dizzy. The girl's voice beside her sounded familiar, just like someone she knew. Hearing Hector Vaughn's question, she remained slumped over and nodded mechanically. "Yes, I... I wanted to drink it myself..."
Aurora Sterling frowned. Sylvia Vaughn was obviously lying. Before Aurora had entered, she had clearly seen the pained expression on Sylvia's face—she hadn't wanted to drink at all.
