Rose White didn't know the details of what had happened with the Sterling Family, but she grew anxious seeing the tension between Aurora and Timothy Sterling. Having grown up sheltered by doting parents, she couldn't fully comprehend how this father and daughter had reached such an impasse.
In Rose's world, life was mostly good and happy. Even the small hurdles were easily overcome with her parents' help. This was especially true for her parents themselves; because they loved each other, there were no lingering resentments or grudges they couldn't let go of.
Aurora knew, of course, that Rose was speaking from a place of goodwill, so she smiled. "I know. I'll handle it."
Hearing Aurora's reply, Rose smiled. Two small dimples appeared on her cheeks when she did, making her look exceptionally cute. "But, by the way... you've been living with Damien Valerius all this time. Have you two... you know?"
The question caught Aurora completely off guard. "You know... what?"
