Yvonne Vaughn then seemed to realize something. She turned to Damien Valerius, confused. "Huh? Why did you only prepare a room for me? What about Joanna? How could you be so thoughtless and forget about her? You should have prepared two rooms." After speaking, she turned to Ms. Sutton with a carefree air. "Get two rooms ready for us in a bit—one for me, and one for Joanna."
Ms. Sutton shuddered inwardly at her words. 'Oh, good heavens,' she thought, 'I have to serve *this* one…'
"Joanna..." Damien Valerius glanced at Yvonne Vaughn. He had just started to speak when Joanna Jacobs, who was across from them, quickly cut in. "Mrs. Vaughn, I won't be staying here."
Yvonne Vaughn was taken aback by Joanna Jacobs's words. "Not staying here? If you don't stay here, where will you go? You don't have a home or any family in the country. You're supposed to be staying with us."
