Seeing Aurora's obvious embarrassment, Mrs. Sterling pursed her lips and smiled. "I wonder who it was that said she didn't want to get married so early, trying every trick in the book to get out of this engagement."
Aurora quickly batted her eyes. "Grandma, it's not like I'm saying I want to marry him *now*! I'm still young... and he's so old..."
Aurora was twenty, and Damien Valerius was twenty-eight. He was indeed quite a bit older than her.
"What does a child like you know? A little older is better. They're more mature and know how to cherish a person," Mrs. Sterling said kindly.
Aurora, however, complained inwardly, 'Sure, the man is older, but I haven't seen any signs of maturity. When it comes to acting like a rogue, he's in a league of his own.'
