Sharon Sterling finally realized her mistake; her actions were a direct admission that she wasn't completely in the dark.
She saw the disappointment and anger in her father's eyes, just as she saw his emotional distance and indifference.
'Why? Why did things turn out like this?'
"Dad..." Sharon gently tugged on Timothy Sterling's pant leg, her voice a pathetic, miserable plea, hoping to stir a shred of pity in him.
However, Timothy Sterling pushed her away again. "Don't call me Dad anymore. I don't have a daughter as vicious as you!"
Sharon broke down, completely and utterly. She lunged forward and clung desperately to Timothy Sterling's leg. This was her last hope. "Dad, don't say that! Don't treat me like this! Your blood runs in my veins! I'm your biological daughter! You can't abandon me! I'm your child! A child of the Sterling Family!"
