Aurora Sterling wasn't in the mood to deal with Sharon Sterling just yet. However, she knew that even if she did nothing, simply showing up alive at the exam hall was enough to fill Sharon with dread.
Sitting at her desk, the girl took a deep breath, then raised her hand and neatly wrote the name "Aurora Sterling" on the answer sheet.
The first exam was Language Arts, which involved a lot of writing, including a long 800-character essay at the end. Aurora had originally thought she could blaze through the questions like she did on the English exam and use the remaining time to catch up on sleep. But now, it seemed unlikely there would be much time left for a nap.
The girl picked up her pen and began answering the questions, yawning as she went.
After all, she hadn't slept a wink in so long and had been through repeated physical ordeals. She was genuinely exhausted at this point.
Two and a half hours later, at 11:30 AM, the bell signaling the end of the exam rang.
