Sharon Sterling's loud sobs soon attracted a crowd of other students and their parents. Miller stood beside her, her expression ugly with embarrassment.
"What are you crying for?! Hold it in!" Miller scolded coldly.
Just then, a student in the crowd recognized Sharon Sterling. "Hey, isn't she the one who didn't finish her essay?"
"Yeah, that's her. Not only did she not finish her essay, she didn't even finish bubbling in her answer sheet. Her language arts score is probably a total bust."
Miller overheard the surrounding students' gossip and instantly flew into a rage. She yanked Sharon Sterling to her feet. "You didn't finish your essay? You didn't finish your answer sheet either?"
Sharon Sterling's slight frame swayed precariously as Miller yanked at her. Faced with Miller's rough treatment, Sharon's only response was to cry.
