Aurora Sterling didn't sleep through all of her classes. In fact, she rarely slept in subjects she was weaker in, like biology and chemistry. However, English was a class Aurora was guaranteed to sleep through. The reason was simple: her English, whether speaking, listening, reading, or writing, had already reached a masterful level. With her proficiency, she could have easily outclassed the teacher at the front of the room. So, from Aurora's perspective, the high school English content being taught was practically preschool-level material and held no meaning for her.
Perhaps because sleeping hunched over her desk wasn't very comfortable, Aurora Sterling shifted slightly, trying to stretch out her body.
The English teacher at the podium, who had been explaining the test, finally reached her limit. She angrily slammed the papers onto the lectern, then strode toward the back of the classroom, stopping right beside Aurora Sterling.
