When Clara finished speaking, she pouted slightly and looked at him with wide, expectant eyes.
Aside from thinking her last point was very reasonable, what Seth Quinn found most impossible to refuse was her attitude. It was gentle with a touch of shyness, which in turn was laced with a charming coyness. He couldn't bring himself to refuse her even if he wanted to.
So, he nodded hesitantly, figuring it was just as she said—a way for them to be together day and night sooner.
Seeing him nod, Clara was overjoyed and felt a little smug. 'I knew he wouldn't be able to resist my charm offensive.'
In her excitement, she forgot her shyness and planted a kiss on his lips. "Seth, thank you."
