Seeing there was nothing wrong with the wound, Clara Grant breathed a sigh of relief. She sat back down in her chair and said in a huff, "The wound is fine. You're a grown man, and you're this scared of pain!"
"Who says I'm a grown man? In front of you, I'm just a little boy, and little boys are scared of pain. Clara, it really, really hurts." Seth Quinn frowned, and to anyone watching, it wouldn't have looked like he was lying.
"Then... then what should I do?" Clara Grant was getting flustered, regretting that she hadn't been able to stop herself from hitting him. If she'd known it would aggravate his wound, she never would have done it.
"How about I go get a doctor to come take a look at you?" Clara Grant said, starting to stand up to find one, but Seth Quinn's voice stopped her just in time.
"You don't need to get a doctor. If you just blow on it for me, it'll stop hurting."
