Feeling restless, Clara Grant shifted in her seat and checked her phone. It was already 6:30 PM; she had been waiting for three hours.
She instinctively opened her call log, thinking of calling him. But when she saw the name "Seth" at the top of the list, her mind went blank.
She stared at the name for a long time, until the screen automatically locked and went dark. She still hadn't made the call.
After a moment's thought, she placed her phone back on the sofa and continued to wait.
