He walked over and gazed at her flushed little face for a moment. Then he pulled away the thin blanket, bent down, and lifted her into his arms.
He paused as he walked past Sarah Shelby. Looking at her, he said a very sincere, "Thank you."
After thanking her, he started walking toward the door again.
"Mr. Quinn..."
Sarah Shelby's voice came from behind. Seth Quinn stopped again and turned to look at her.
Sarah Shelby had called out to Seth Quinn, but for a long moment, she said nothing. She had intended to tell him that Clara already knew he once had a fiancée, but on second thought, she decided against it. It was better to let Clara handle the matter herself.
After all, it was a private matter between the two of them. Whether to bring it up or ask about it should be Clara's decision.
