The wedding car stopped. After another burst of firecrackers, the door opened, and William Chapman carried Maeve Sutton out.
He carried her all the way to the pastor. After they both said "I do," as prompted by the pastor, they exchanged rings. Then came a passionate kiss. Speaking of which, the kiss nearly made Maeve Sutton sick to her stomach. William Chapman's mouth reeked of garlic. The smell was repulsive. She was furious and frantic, but with so many people watching, she could only let him press his mouth to hers and kiss her endlessly.
Then, the guests took their seats, and the two of them went to the bridal suite to change into their reception outfits.
Maeve Sutton reached the bridal suite, but before she could take two steps inside, William Chapman forced the door shut.
William Chapman chuckled as he scooped her up from behind and tumbled directly onto the bed.
"We're supposed to be changing! Let go!"
