Chloe Marshall looked at her, suddenly feeling that Dorothy had become much more mature.
"Mommy's fine, just a little unwell."
"Are you feeling any better?"
Chloe Marshall nodded.
"Sweetie, you have school tomorrow. Why don't you go back to your room and get some sleep? It's best to go to bed early so you can wake up early. If you stay up too late, you won't be able to get up in the morning."
Dorothy Ellsworth glanced at her daddy. Ethan Ellsworth bent down and picked her up. "Alright, it's time for our Dorothy to go to sleep."
He carried her back to her room and tucked her in.
"Mwah. Sleep well." Ethan Ellsworth gave her a kiss.
"Daddy, I want to kiss you too." She wrapped her arms around Ethan Ellsworth's neck and kissed him, then let go. "Daddy, go take care of Mommy. She looks like she's really uncomfortable."
Ethan Ellsworth nodded. "Okay."
He turned off the table lamp, then closed the door and returned to their bedroom.
