Hearing this, Aaron Sterling's expression changed instantly. "Mom, what do you mean by that?"
Mrs. Sterling repeated herself. "What do I mean? I mean that no matter how rich her family is, we won't accept someone like her. With your qualifications, it wouldn't be hard to find another girl with a good family background who is perfect in every way. Why would we need a woman with a disability like that?"
"Mom, are you discriminating against people with disabilities?" Aaron stared directly at her. "Sierra's leg is like that because some criminals hurt her. Who would want to be like that?"
"I don't care how her leg ended up like that. But I won't have a woman who gets people gossiping just by the way she walks marry into our family."
