"Why does it feel so hot? Is there no AC in this elevator?" Elmer Grant asked in confusion.
"Yeah, I feel it too. It got really hot after we left the elevator. Come on, let's hurry. The little girl has cried her voice hoarse. Her daddy and mommy must be so worried."
Dylan Grant nodded vigorously. "Okay, let's hurry and find the lady at the front desk. We'll ask her to help find the little girl's parents."
After they spoke, the three children sped up and rushed to the front desk.
"Ma'am!"
A young employee at the front desk asked kindly, "What is it, little ones?"
Elmer Grant pointed to the little girl still crying in Dorothy Ellsworth's arms. "Ma'am, there's a little girl here who can't find her mom. Can you help her find her mom?"
The front desk attendant looked at Dorothy Ellsworth. "Little one, what's your name? How did you get separated from your mom? Do you know your mom's name?"
Dorothy Ellsworth spoke up. "Ma'am, it's not me who's looking for my mom. It's her."
