The other children at the kindergarten were all distraught. Dorothy Ellsworth was driven to the hospital by Chloe Marshall.
The teachers soothed the children, and after a short while, they were back to playing, the incident forgotten.
On the way to the hospital, Nora Ainsworth almost fainted several times. An extreme tightness seized her chest. She didn't understand. She had been so careful, so vigilant about safety, so why was her child still targeted? 'Do I have to homeschool them?'
At the hospital, Dylan Grant was put through a series of tests. The final diagnosis was a Child Worm, but it couldn't be removed with surgery. The hospital was at a loss and could only advise them to find the Mother Worm to lure it out.
