"Are you hoping my husband will marry her?" Zoe Ellsworth snorted. "Not a chance."
"You vicious woman! You're only acting so high and mighty because your family is rich and powerful. And your brother is just an actor! What's there to be so arrogant about?"
Zoe Ellsworth's eyes narrowed. "An actor? Did he put on a show for your son? Or your husband? Stop trying to pull rank with your age. This isn't a retirement home!"
Mrs. Rhodes was furious. "Herman, say something!"
Herman Hawthorne stood up. "There's nothing to say. See yourselves out."
He then took Zoe Ellsworth's hand. "Let's go home, honey."
Mrs. Rhodes was absolutely livid.
Zoe Ellsworth waved her hand. "Guards!"
A group of men immediately appeared at the door.
"Escort these people out."
Shea Rhodes shot to her feet in a panic. "Young Madam, I work for the boss."
