Ian Quincy laughed heartily. "Even if you can't, I wouldn't mind."
Cecilia Adler wasn't sure how sincere he was, but his words truly pleased her. The old lady had been very worried that he would start to look down on her after he broadened his horizons at university.
She had told Cecilia to brace herself.
After all, she was a businesswoman, and in the eyes of the well-educated, that made her cunning and mercenary.
Besides, she hadn't had much schooling. No matter how striking her looks were, she was still just a pretty face.
