Every word of their conversation reached Titus Shaw, who was walking behind them. With a deep look in his eyes, he watched their receding backs and followed at a measured pace.
Once they reached the summit, the photographer was still there, and Cecilia Adler went to greet him.
"Sir, do you remember me?"
"How could I forget? You and your partner were the best-looking couple I've ever photographed in my entire career."
Ian Quincy bristled with jealousy. 'That bastard took a picture with my wife.' He wanted one too. "Honey, let's take a picture together."
Cecilia Adler blinked. "We already took one the day before yesterday."
"I want to take another one today."
Cecilia: "..."
The photographer remembered the background from their previous photo. He pointed to a different spot and said, "The other day you took one by the stone monument. How about over here today?"
Ian: "I insist on taking it by the monument."
