He was conflicted.
On one hand, he knew Jessie Sterling was a shining star and wanted the whole world to know how wonderful she was. On the other hand, he wanted to keep that wonderfulness all to himself, hidden away from the prying and covetous eyes of others.
Victor Morgan stared at the bullet comments scrolling across the top of the screen. They were packed densely together.
They seemed to multiply, especially when Jessie Sterling accurately assigned everyone the jobs that best suited them.
