When Li Ji returned to the Prince Mansion, he saw a carriage parked at the entrance, adorned with palace lanterns.
Those were lanterns exclusive to the Imperial Palace.
Li Ji casually tossed the reins to a servant and asked.
"Do we have guests?"
The servant cupped the horsewhip in both hands and answered respectfully.
"Someone from the palace arrived a little while ago. They said they had something important to report to the Prince, but you weren't here, so the Princess Consort had them wait in the flower hall."
Li Ji strode into the flower hall, but he didn't see any guests. There was only Li Xun, playing with the Three-colored Cat.
Li Ji asked, "Where's the person from the palace?"
Li Xun said as he petted the cat.
"It was just an Imperial Physician. I already sent him away."
Li Ji didn't comment on that, only asking, "What did he come for?"
