This problem wasn't actually unsolvable. After all, hadn't the Central Continent slowly adapted and established new rules that worked for them?
As long as the Beastmen ensured they culled a certain number of Wild Beasts each year to curb their excessive breeding, other Beastmen could try their hand at farming, raising livestock, and tackling issues like flood control and protection from the cold.
The comfortable life within Beast City allowed the Beastmen to relax, improving their health and extending their lifespans. The cubs they bore would be healthy and lively, and their numbers would certainly increase as well.
These cubs would, in turn, become the new Warriors, protecting this land.
Once a virtuous cycle was formed, the Beastmen of the Southern Continent could also live the self-sufficient lives they imagined.
