In short, the Ascenders walking the streets of Silver Moon City weren't all players from the Otherworld.
A considerable portion of them were actually native beings from the various Lord Worlds, summoned to this Divine Domain by Ascender players who had already advanced to become Deities, under the title of Destiny Believers.
However, the Divine Domain had a rather treacherous rule.
Those native Divine Chosen Heroes, summoned to this world as Destiny Believers, were no longer bound by the "100% loyalty" rule of the Lord World.
As long as these Destiny Believers held enough power—especially after they obtained a Divine Format and became self-sufficient Deities who controlled their own territory—they could completely break free from their original master's control, establish their own faction in the Divine Domain, and even turn on them.
