Qin Feng's line of thought was clear.
The Demon Beasts and Ancient Giant Dragons designated as his Exclusive Mounts all possessed an Infinite Resurrection ability. Following the main Holy Empire army to pick off kills would be too inefficient. It was far better to take a separate path, taking advantage of the densely packed enemy Divine Chosen Soldiers to rapidly build up Bloodthirsty Layers.
Unfortunately,
since Qin Feng had decided to fight personally,
Arthas, the Necromancer Champion, was in an awkward position. He couldn't benefit from Qin Feng's Divine Descent effect, nor could he kill enemies to build up Bloodthirsty Layers on his own.
So, for efficiency's sake, Qin Feng decided not to send him to the front lines.
Instead, he had Arthas remain on standby with the rest of the Holy Empire's forces.
They would wait for the enemy to advance closer.
Then they would strike.
