Under the sparse moonlight, Shen Bai arrived at the Observatory, just in time to meet Fang Tong, who was preparing to get off duty.
Fang Tong had been on a rather difficult mission and had only just gotten back. He hadn't expected to run right into Shen Bai.
Fang Tong stepped forward and asked respectfully, "Lord Shen, I trust your trip to the mine went smoothly?"
He was just making small talk, but when he caught a glimpse of Shen Bai's expression out of the corner of his eye, he sensed that something was wrong.
Shen Bai's expression was grim.
'Did something happen?' Fang Tong wondered.
The thought had barely crossed his mind when he heard Shen Bai's voice.
"Go and bring the two Landlords and the heads of Divisions Jia, Yi, Bing, and Ding. There is an urgent matter to attend to. All other tasks can be temporarily set aside."
Without waiting for Fang Tong's reply, Shen Bai turned and walked directly toward the five-story building.
