Tan Ying stood rooted to the spot, her gaze fixed on the figure, completely forgetting to walk on.
The rest of the group had walked some distance before they realized Tan Ying hadn't moved, so they all stopped.
"What's wrong, cousin?"
Anya walked over, patted Tan Ying's shoulder, and asked with a curious look.
"Ah!"
Anya's touch startled Tan Ying, who jolted back to her senses. A fluster that belied her usual calm demeanor flashed in her eyes, and she quickly averted her gaze.
"What's going on with you?"
Anya watched Tan Ying curiously, then followed her gaze. 'There's nothing strange here?'
"It's nothing, really. I was just thinking about something and spaced out. Let's go."
Tan Ying waved a hand dismissively, her expression regaining its usual calm.
"Oh, alright then."
Anya shrugged, not thinking too much of it. She pulled Tan Ying along to catch up with the others, and they continued toward the departure lounge.
