Naomi Kenway looked at Ethan Shaw and remarked, "Your luck is unreal. I've never won a game of rock-paper-scissors in my life. Sending you up there was absolutely the right call."
She gave him a thumbs-up as she spoke.
Ethan Shaw took her hand. "With your encouragement, I'm sure I'll have the best of luck in the drawing."
Naomi Kenway nodded, not wanting to put too much pressure on him. "Just relax and draw. As long as the three of us are together, it doesn't matter where we end up staying."
She lowered her head and asked Ian Shaw, "Isn't that right, son?"
Ian Shaw nodded vigorously. "As long as I can be with Mom and Dad, I'll be happy anywhere! My teacher said that home is wherever Mom and Dad are!"
Naomi Kenway smiled and stroked his head.
A smile lit up Ethan Shaw's eyes as well.
[How did the couple I ship get even sweeter?]
[I used to think they were just a couple who looked good together, but now they seem so much more warm and loving.]
