Gregory's fate should have been for his body to begin devouring and twisting itself until it vanished from the scene, no longer existing in a form native to the Prime Material Plane. But the Mother Goddess had once again bestowed her favor upon him.
"COUGH, COUGH, COUGH..." Gregory was granted a human form once more, but the process was not exactly smooth. He dry-heaved for a while before finally spitting out one of his own fingers and a small piece of his scalp.
"BLECH—I have to wash my hair more often from now on... I swear!" His long, greasy hair had been particularly nauseating, sticking to his throat and the inside of his mouth as he threw up.
