The shockwave spread out from the epicenter, a process that took some time. By the time the residents of Lansite had moved past their initial shock and settled in to watch the show, two groups of people came looking for Rorschach.
They were all Rorschach's colleagues—fellow Mages!
First was the Town Mage from the prefectural capital, Munich. He had received reports of giant Demonic Puppet sightings and came to investigate, a squad of trembling Guards in tow, since Lansite wasn't large enough to warrant its own Mage.
When he confirmed the Demonic Puppets were being controlled by someone, he was taken aback. Gazing out at the construction site, he saw over twenty behemoths working in perfect order. 'Such control, such discipline,' he thought. 'Could there be a Great Mage behind this?'
Upon further inquiry, the "Old Man Rorschach" he had imagined turned out to be a young man, and his junior from the academy at that.
