Alvin Morgan watched in confusion as Aurora Sinclair returned empty-handed.
"Not enough money?"
Aurora Sinclair shook her head. "It wasn't convenient."
Alvin Morgan turned to look and saw Elias Lennox handing out an armful of drinks. A foreign woman he didn't recognize followed close behind.
Soon, he walked over to offer them drinks.
The blonde woman stuck close to him, as if afraid he'd run off.
Alvin Morgan immediately understood what was happening, and his expression darkened.
When the blonde woman saw him, her eyes lit up. She ran forward to introduce herself. "Hello, I'm Alice Bell..."
Alvin Morgan glanced at Elias Lennox and asked coolly, "Your woman?"
Elias Lennox grinned. "Not yet."
He looked like he was enjoying the show.
Alice was a notorious 'man-eater'; once she set her sights on a guy, she would stop at nothing to get him.
