The City Defense General led the charge, plunging into the ranks of the Alien Race.
With a single slash of his blade, he cut down a wide swath of alien creatures, fighting as if possessed by a god of war.
In the distance, the experts from the Alien Race looked on coldly, not joining the battle. It was as if they were waiting for something.
The City Defense General didn't know what they were waiting for, but he had a bad feeling. He knew his current enhanced state couldn't last forever.
His physical body couldn't maintain this state for long, and the same was true for his soldiers. The military formation was taking an increasingly heavy toll on all of them.
The rising casualties further shortened the time he could maintain his peak condition, but he had no other choice. He could only kill as many of these aliens as possible while simultaneously searching for a path of retreat.
