Yang Chan walked for a long time without seeing a single person, though he did encounter two Exotic Beasts.
One was a colossal, cyan serpent coiled around several large trees. Upon seeing it, Yang Chan chose not to engage and instead skirted around it. Unsure of its Combat Power, he didn't want to take any chances.
Even if he managed to kill it, he wouldn't be able to carry its massive body away. He did, however, memorize its location. If he couldn't find a way out and ran out of food, he could return to slay this Exotic Beast. Its enormous carcass would be enough to feed him for a very long time.
The other was an Exotic Beast with the head of a tiger and the body of a dog, shrouded in a strange, fiery aura that made it look quite extraordinary. After sensing its presence, Yang Chan once again changed direction to avoid it. Both creatures were extremely dangerous to him, and he had no intention of risking a close encounter.
