A cacophony of confused and helpless voices rose from all around, followed by a series of sharp gasps.
Below them, the Copper Star seemed to be trapped by some sort of Invisible Power. The protective Energy membrane on its outer hull fluctuated violently, forming radial wrinkles as if being crushed by a Giant Strength.
The thruster nozzles spewed incandescent exhaust, but they couldn't stop the ship's lateral drift. It wobbled, gradually nearing the spatial barrier of the Teleportation Route.
SCREEECH!
The ship's flank collided with it, creating a brilliant shower of particle sparks. Under the spatial pressure, the metal alloy at the wingtip stretched out like molten glass, forming a metallic thread a thousand meters long.
'Good heavens...'
