Less than three minutes passed from the time the door opened to when they left. Su Chen's eyes narrowed.
He was still chewing; the meat was crisp yet tough. It seemed to be the heart of a Mutant Species called a Tiger Dolphin.
"We should leave as soon as possible," Lan Hao said, pulling his gaze back. He felt a vague sense of unease.
"There's no rush. We've already ordered. Wouldn't it be a waste not to eat?" Su Chen said, placating him.
Lan Hao was truly on edge, terrified someone would suddenly burst in and attack.
After the weaselly-looking man left, he hurried down several corridors on the same floor before entering another private room.
Three people were already waiting inside.
The moment he entered, he spoke with unconcealed excitement, "It's confirmed. It's him—Su Chen."
"So it really is him…" The expressions of the other three shifted. "I thought I'd made a mistake."
