Si Taizhen's expression was grim. They were rare survivors in a village that had been attacked by Demon Cultivators. He sent a Snake Demon forward to question them.

"Little Crown Prince Si, this village was attacked two days ago. The two of them were hidden in a cave, which is how they managed to survive. They know nothing about the attackers."
Si Taizhen's gaze shifted as he asked the Snake Demon, "What about the Demon-Seeding Talismans sent down by the Sovereign?"
Though underwater, the Snake Demon was sweating profusely. It glanced at Si Taizhen before speaking.
"R-Reporting, Crown Prince Si… They said they have never seen any Demon-Seeding Talismans."
