Sun Monkey kicked open the gates of Douluo Palace. He strode inside with a swagger, his hands clasped behind his back.
"Anyone home? Hello?"
The monkey started shouting the moment he stepped into Douluo Palace, before he'd even taken a good look around. Only then did the scene before him come into focus.
He focused his gaze and saw two children fanning the flames of a Pill Furnace, who glanced at him in surprise. A pretty young girl was also staring at him.
Behind the Pill Furnace sat a little old man with a long, flowing white beard. He looked utterly plain and ordinary.
An unremarkable Daoist Palace, an unassuming Immortal.
Sun Wukong cleared his throat and announced loudly,
"I am Sun Wukong, the Traveling General of the Daoist Mansion, recently appointed by the Celestial Duke himself! Just making my rounds, visiting the neighbors..."
