Yan Feifan and Dr. Qiu Ge's first day of experimental treatments—two patients in the morning and four in the afternoon—kept them busy for the entire day.
Around 7:00 PM, Yan Feifan and Duan Yu returned to their residence at Zuimo Court to find that, in addition to his sister and Yu Suye, his aunt Liu Hui was also there.
Dinner was already on the table—a magnificent spread. They hadn't started eating yet, waiting for Yan Feifan to get home.
This made Yan Feifan feel a little guilty.
"Aunt Liu Hui, you don't have to wait for me for dinner. I often work late with no set schedule."
"You're pregnant now, so you shouldn't go hungry."
Yan Feifan then looked at Yan Ziruo and said teasingly, "Sis, you never used to wait for me. Why are you putting on a show for Aunt Liu Hui?"
Seeing his sister glare at him as if she were about to strike, Yan Feifan quickly dodged behind his aunt.
Liu Hui chuckled softly. "Feifan, we waited for you today because a new housekeeper made this dinner."
