To complete the remote operation and repair of the space satellite, Yan Feifan had many preparations to make, which were divided into three main parts.
The first was to create a precise, three-dimensional model of the damaged area.
To achieve this, Mr. Wei provided Yan Feifan with a vast amount of detailed information, including high-definition photos of the damage taken from various angles, 3D transparent computer simulations, the design blueprints for the damaged section, a full-scale physical model of the damaged area, and a proportionally scaled model of the satellite, among other things.
The second was to establish a precise operational model for the repair robot.
This was the most difficult part.
The repair robot had sustained some damage when it landed on the satellite, causing some deformation in the movement of its two mechanical arms.
