"Academician candidates sure have high moral standards."

"But to my surprise, he started by apologizing to me. He said he failed to discipline his son properly and told me to handle the matter with the utmost severity."

Yan Feifan hummed in agreement. "It's quite serious. At the very least, the punishment will involve revoking his medical license."
Yan Ziruo pressed, "When he called, did he invite you to dinner or to meet up?"
Yan Feifan recounted everything faithfully. "He did, but I told him I have plans tonight and don't have time."
