Yan Feifan looked out the window. The world seemed veiled in several layers of light gauze, and the buildings shrouded within looked somewhat indistinct.
Looking up, the sky was a pale blue, and he could faintly make out a few lingering stars.
Yan Feifan stood up from his chair, stretched his somewhat stiff body, and walked out of the bedroom.
He listened intently. Not a sound came from his sister's room or the attic upstairs. Clearly, they were both still fast asleep.
