Immediately, Chu Feng summoned the true form of the Sun God.
He was following the system's instructions: the "Three Powers" meant the three deities; without them the array couldn't be set.
He'd planned to keep a low profile, but reality wouldn't allow it.
Ah Yin, quite familiar with the routine, leaned close; bathed in Chu Feng's solar radiance she felt especially confident.
Zhu Zhuqing looked slightly dazed—fresh from the Investiture of the Gods and now face-to-face with Chu Feng's divine bearing, her worldview was reeling.
Only the Golden Dragon King acted unbothered, hopping about, swaggering thanks to the biyuan pill.
The Allied Army naturally backed the Golden Dragon King; though the sight of three gods together stunned them, they remained convinced he was the true deity.
"If the Golden Dragon King can slay those three false gods, what a legend that will be!"
"Our mission will speed up too—I'm sure he can do it."
"Haha, of course! All of Slaughter City's luck rests on the Golden Dragon King."
"Let's just wait to drink the emperor's victory wine."
The allies cheered far more excitedly than they ever had under Tang Chen.
Clearly they believed the Golden Dragon King would accomplish what Tang Chen could not—dealing with Chu Feng's trio would be easy.
But that was their fantasy. By now Chu Feng, Ah Yin and Zhu Zhuqing stood at the three points of a triangle, array-taking shape.
At the triangle's center stood the Golden Dragon King; confident in his strength, he had swaggered right into the formation.
Moments later his face clouded—he saw the four Zhu Xian swords materialize.
Any one of those blades had once slain a god; their thirst for battle was fierce.
With Chu Feng lifting Douluo's Domain restrictions, his immortal power not only returned but surged.
And because the Immortal Source Seal treated part of the Dragon God's might as a Domain, Chu Feng's dao-methods soared.
The Golden Dragon King couldn't help panicking—he knew what he faced: something that might obliterate him.
Yet he'd brought it on himself; who told him to walk voluntarily into the array?
Fighting the immortal slaying sword outside to the death would at least have been heroic.
Still, he wouldn't bow. Having devoured so much luck, he felt he had to prove himself.
"This array? Just for show, maybe?"
The Golden Dragon King tested, cupping the biyuan pill in his palm.
Chu Feng smiled. "You'll know its power soon—so unforgettable you'll remember even after death."
The array officially activated; the four swords linked with the three divine forces, drawn together by brilliant, flowing ribbons of light.
The Sun God's gold, the Goddess of Night's dark glow, and the Goddess of Order's gray radiance mingled in splendor.
Under the triangle a mirage of the Universal Diagram slowly floated upward.
Sensing the aura, the investiture of the gods list drifted out on its own, bathing the array in vast golden light.
Inside the array the Golden Dragon King howled, "Petty array—watch me break it! Golden Dragon Devil-Intent Slaughter!"
A skill he'd grasped after fusing Demonic Luck: sacrificing himself to the devil, he released a tide of fiendish aura.
The aura formed black dragons that prowled about; in normal times erasing all of Slaughter City would be effortless.
Yet inside the Universal-Three-Powers Zhu-Xian Array it looked feeble—unable even to spill beyond the triangle.
Zhu Zhuqing gasped, "With the might of three gods we can actually slay a God-King level power?"
She could see the Golden Dragon King rivaled a God-King, and it struck her as unreal.
Ah Yin echoed Chu Feng's smile, "Looks like you miscalculated. I can wipe you out without using Dragon God power—meaning you're weaker than before."
"Damn—"
The Golden Dragon King snapped, even more directly and deeply than Tang Chen had.
Dragon scales showered off him; his devil-swap gained nothing, only hastening death.
Chu Feng added, "Any one of these swords—Immortal-Slaying, Immortal-Butchering, Immortal-Trapping, Immortal-Ending—has felled a god. All four honoring you should feel like glory."
Hearing this, the Golden Dragon King stared aghast, then studied Chu Feng's Sun God form.
Despair struck—his mind went blank, only Chu Feng's divine image drifting through.
No matter how he racked his brains he couldn't gauge Chu Feng's limit; as a shard of the Dragon God he could at most imagine that level, yet Chu Feng clearly surpassed it—perhaps even primeval divine force.
"No—"
The Golden Dragon King denied it; never had he expected to meet power surpassing his very origin, power that would erase him.
Chu Feng said, "Regret now is too late. I spared you last time, but ignorance of your insignificance and today's arrogance mean your death has come."
"Ahh!"
The Golden Dragon King shrieked as the four swords hacked down.
One Immortal-Slaying stroke—his divine sense gone, spirit power destroyed.
One Immortal-Butchering stroke—his flesh melted, essence drained.
One Immortal-Trapping stroke—his dragon soul powdered, no remnant left.
One Immortal-Ending stroke—he vanished utterly, no life to return.
Boom—
The four swords shuttled through the killing array; not a trace of the Golden Dragon King remained, the spilled fiendish aura erased to the last wisp.
Zhu Zhuqing was stunned, staring at her hands—when had her strength reached such heights?
Ah Yin likewise found it hard to believe she had taken part in such a feat.
Only Chu Feng stayed calm. "Stop day-dreaming; withdraw your divine force or the array will bite back."
"O-okay!"
Ah Yin hurriedly complied, still shaken yet thrilled.
Zhu Zhuqing nodded in agreement, but she stood frozen; even after the array faded she remained rooted for over a minute.
As for the allied soldiers watching, they pressed their foreheads to the molten ground—an apology to the gods, a confession to the true deity.
With the Golden Dragon King and Tang Chen slain one after another, terror gripped the army; they had to show utmost piety.
Seizing the lull, Chu Feng scoured the vicinity for karmic chances; luck and fortune are tied together, and with Tang Chen and the Golden Dragon King dead the Demonic Luck would flee—he couldn't allow that.
So he focused hard, sifting through the fragments left by the Golden Dragon King and surveying Slaughter City as a whole.
Soon Chu Feng looked puzzled—why would the karmic chance be there?
