The centipede bit off the head of a demon-race player that tried to attack it, its massive jaws closing around the unfortunate victim, and the moment he saw it, Leon made his move.
'Wait a minute, couldn't I have just used [Oblivion Meteor]?' Leon thought as he rushed forward, 'Oh well, I'll keep it for later when I really need it.'
SLASH!
He swung at the centipede's head while it was still devouring the player, his blade arcing through the air with deadly intent, and right as his sword was about to cut it, something unexpected happened.
"Not so fast, Celestial."
Right before Leon's eyes, the angel-race player he had seen in Iris' garden appeared before him, materializing out of thin air.
He had literally blitzed into existence out of nowhere in front of him, making Leon's eyes widen in shock at the display of speed.
SLAM!
Then the angel smashed his leg into Leon's chest, sending him flying backward through the air, and summoned his golden blade in a flash of light.
