It hit its chest repeatedly with its massive fists as it got ready to swing its cracked limbs at the elves, its body language indicating it was preparing for another assault.
Leon couldn't prove it definitively, but he assumed from the rules that only the person that dealt the final blow could get the mana points from a monster.
Contribution didn't matter since even if many people fought at once and dealt damage to the same monster, only one would receive the mana at the end of the fight.
And that person would be the one to actually kill the monster, no matter how injured it was or how much damage others had done to it beforehand.
