Leon eventually reached the line forming in front of the [Divine Stele], stepping into place with Celeste and Emilia standing right beside him as they waited for their turn.

One after another, players stepped forward, placing their hands on the stele and receiving their rankings, the results appearing in flashes of light that quickly faded as the next person took their place.
Emilia watched quietly for a while before speaking.
"Is it just me, or are there way more high rankings than before," she said, her tone thoughtful, "I haven't seen anyone below C-Rank yet."
"It's not just you," Leon replied calmly, his eyes still fixed on the stele, "Players at this stage take more time to build their [Combat Power] and improve their skills before attempting the assessment, since the rewards depend heavily on the rank they get."
That alone made a huge difference.
