On a military truck in front of the Marleyan camp, Litt and the other two casually stepped down from the vehicle.
Inside the camp, Commander Magath had already been waiting for a long time with the Warrior Unit.
One of the trio, Ivanor, blinked her big eyes and looked around everywhere. Clearly, seeing the vast Marleyan military camp stretching as far as the eye could see for the first time made her feel extremely curious.
Bazel, on the other hand, looked honest and gentle. His eyes were slightly narrowed, and the corners of his mouth curved into a faint smile that appeared and disappeared, giving people the impression that he was very easy to get along with.
Litt, meanwhile, took the lead and walked ahead of the two. His face was expressionless, and his entire body gave off an aura that warned strangers not to approach.
Under the guidance of a soldier, the three of them quickly met the Marleyan Warrior Unit that had come to receive them.
"I am Magath, captain of the Marleyan Warrior Unit, responsible for commanding all Titan warriors. From today onward, I will also be your commander. On behalf of the Marleyan Warrior Unit, I welcome you to join us."
Magath stood upright and spoke with firm authority.
But the three people standing across from him didn't seem to appreciate it.
Litt still wore the same arrogant expression. After hearing Magath's introduction, he even revealed a trace of disdain.
Ivanor looked completely indifferent. She kept glancing around casually, and then her eyes suddenly landed on Airi standing behind Magath. When she saw Airi's long gray hair and delicate face, Ivanor's eyes lit up.
What a beautiful girl!?
Airi suddenly felt a chill run down her spine. She looked up and saw the gaze of the girl who was about to join the Warrior Unit.
That look was terrifying!
After quickly glancing at Ivanor's figure, Airi couldn't help but gasp.
Too terrifying!
Doesn't she get tired carrying those two huge things around?!
Airi suddenly felt her chest tighten and hurriedly pulled her coat tighter, wrapping it firmly around her body.
Among the three, only Bazel showed a good attitude. He smiled and bowed respectfully to Magath.
"Captain Magath, please take good care of us from now on."
But Litt and Ivanor's attitudes made Magath frown.
Even the Warrior Unit behind him couldn't stand it anymore.
Porco was the first to lose his temper. He directly pointed at Litt and said,
"Hey! You're being really rude. Why aren't you speaking when you meet your commander?"
Faced with Porco's accusation, Litt quietly spat out two words.
"Trash."
Porco immediately exploded in anger.
"What did you say?!"
Reiner quickly grabbed the furious Porco.
Seeing Porco's helpless rage, the contempt in Litt's eyes grew even stronger. But this attitude also successfully made the other members of the Warrior Unit look at him with hostility.
Before Litt could continue acting arrogant, Magath suddenly stepped forward and stood directly in front of him. The stern look on his face made Litt pause.
Magath said,
"Kid, I don't know what makes you so arrogant. But remember your identity. You are now a Marleyan warrior who has inherited the power of the Eldian Titans. As a warrior, your duty is to obey orders and fight for Marley—not stand here provoking your superior!"
Magath's words rang out like thunder.
But Litt's personality meant he would never bow his head so easily.
He carried a blood-deep hatred toward Marley.
Fight for Marley?
What a joke.
If he weren't forced into this situation, Litt would much rather send everyone in front of him to meet the god of death.
But Magath didn't give Litt a chance to respond.
He suddenly threw a powerful hook straight into Litt's abdomen.
Caught completely off guard, Litt's body bent forward from the blow. But Magath gave him no time to recover.
As Litt staggered backward from the punch, Magath immediately followed up.
He grabbed Litt's shoulder, muscles bulging, planted his feet firmly, turned his body, and pulled sharply.
To everyone's shock, Magath lifted Litt straight off the ground and slammed him heavily onto the floor.
The brutal slam sent a wave of pain through Litt's chest. It felt as if his internal organs had shifted out of place.
No one present had expected this.
Captain Magath actually made a move?
And so cleanly at that?
Even Zeke, a veteran of the Warrior Unit, was surprised. He hadn't expected the seemingly ordinary Captain Magath to possess such sharp and efficient combat skills.
After the humiliation of being slammed to the ground, Litt was filled with burning rage.
A faint wisp of steam escaped from his mouth.
A trace of golden-red lightning flickered in his eyes.
The furious Litt was about to get up and retaliate—
But suddenly a hand pressed down on his shoulder.
Litt looked up.
It was Bazel.
With his eyes still half-closed in that gentle expression, Bazel smiled apologetically.
"I'm really sorry, Captain Magath. Litt just has this kind of bad temper. Please don't argue with a foolish kid like him. Don't worry—we three will completely obey the Warrior Unit's orders!"
Litt gritted his teeth and tried to stand up.
But Bazel's seemingly thin body and those soft-looking hands pressing down on him felt as heavy as a thousand pounds.
Like welded steel bars.
No matter how hard Litt tried, he couldn't move them at all.
"We will fully obey your orders. Ivanor, Litt—you agree too, right?"
At that moment, Ivanor's attention was still mostly focused on Airi.
Her response sounded a bit absentminded, but she still expressed her stance.
"Yes, I'll follow the captain's arrangements. But can I team up with that pretty lady over there?"
Ivanor stared expectantly at Airi.
The latter was so frightened that she shrank behind Newt.
Bazel automatically ignored the second half of Ivanor's sentence and looked at Litt again.
Litt stared at Bazel's gentle squinting eyes and suddenly remembered his agreement with Ebson.
After struggling internally for a moment, he finally lowered his head.
"I will obey the Warrior Unit's orders."
With all three of them lowering their attitudes, Magath finally nodded with some satisfaction.
"Then, Litt Bruce, Ivanor Adam, Bazel Latin—welcome to the Warrior Unit."
Everything that happened with the Marleyan Warrior Unit was observed by someone from not far away.
Holding a handful of five-spice peanuts, Yago leaned against a tent nearby, quietly watching the scene unfold.
"Hey, Loya! So you're here! Wait a second… weren't those peanuts my family mailed to me? How did they end up in your hands?"
Bagge, with his big belly sticking out, pointed at the peanuts in Yago's hand and asked.
But Yago calmly stuffed the remaining peanuts into his mouth and mumbled,
"Yoo'r seein' things wrong."
A row of black lines appeared on Bagge's forehead.
You really think I'm an idiot?
